We are looking for an exceptional Graphic Designer to join our Creative & Innovation team to help fulfil our mission through the work we do with some of the world’s largest brands across Europe. You will also help shape our output as a Social Element brand and build our movement to Make Social Better.

About You
You are a proven Graphic Designer at midweight level, who is looking for a role that will not only fill your portfolio with exceptional socially-led work, but fill your soul with work that’s good for brands, people and society.
Craft and attention to detail is important to you, but you can equally dial up or down high level craft or mobile-first low-fi designs depending on the client and campaign. You think outside the box when it comes to creating and delivering socially-native content for a variety of clients and driving engagement with a brand’s community.
You are comfortable creating for mobile and digital screen, as much as you are designing for print when needed. We might work in social media, but our purpose is to help brands socialise, and that will include activations both URL and IRL.
You're an ideas person who is able to collaborate with other departments to create eye-popping, thumb-stopping visuals on behalf of a brand and also for Social Element. Your proactive nature means that you have a lot to bring to the table and are always looking for ways to introduce new concepts and ideas.
You will report into the Creative & Innovation Director, and work alongside Social Creatives, Content Creators and Social Media Managers.
Roles & Responsibilities
Day-to-day creation of on-trend and highly shareable social content that drives engagement and connection with the brand's community. Includes stills, short-form video (ex. Reels and TikTok) and GIFs.
Build Social Brand Guidelines for our clients using their existing brand guidelines and translating them into social-first guidance for our own content creation team, as well as the clients teams.
Capitalising on real-time cultural opportunities from our social media management teams by turning them into social-first content for named brands.
Supporting your design recommendations through strong written, editing, presentation, and communication skills.
Maintaining social fluency - understanding social trends and nuances as they emerge.
Stay current with social platforms trends capabilities and offerings (including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook.)
Support the marketing team in delivering advertising, publicity, and general marketing campaigns.
Save all final content assets onto the Social Element server for easy access for anyone within the agency.
Lead on design for internal and external facing decks, case study decks, pitch decks.
When needed, manage the creation of case study decks and videos.
Ensure that DE&I is baked into everything we do and champion this within creativity in the agency.
Skills & Qualities
You are as comfortable in Adobe Creative Cloud as you are in Capcut.
An ideas person, able to look at the big picture
Can work with some levels of ambiguity
A thorough understanding of the evolving social media landscape, with a continuous thirst to learn more.
A joyful collaborator and solution orientated
Ability to set clear objectives, timelines and deadlines for own work
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications.
Preferred skills in Canva, basic creation skills in CapCut and other mobile editing tools when needed.
Optional skills in AI image generation (Firefly) and in motion (Premiere, After Effects)
